In the lead-up to the Melbourne Storm’s final home game of the season, RedZed wanted an activation that would turn heads and bring the partnership to life beyond the stadium. The challenge was to design a mobile experience that hyped fans, built excitement for game day, and showcased RedZed’s brand energy in the heart of Melbourne.
I led the visual design for the Hype Truck, a bold, eye-catching vehicle that drove through Richmond and the Melbourne CBD before parking at AAMI Park as part of a pre-game activation. The design mixed RedZed’s striking red palette with dynamic typography and Storm-inspired graphics to create a look that was powerful, polished, and impossible to miss.
The Hype Truck made a big impact, attracting fans’ attention and plenty of compliments throughout the day. Its success even inspired Storm to explore similar activations during finals, proving how great design can help bring brand partnerships to life in new and memorable ways.
